one escape each day

This traditional yet thriving fishing industry that still land their daily catch, remains unspoilt by progress retaining its original charm and character. The harbour side boasts authentic pubs and award winning restaurants, a labyrinth of streets to explore and the fabulous heritage sites all set against a backdrop of sandy beaches and traditional Cornish homes and fishermen’s net lofts.

Looe’s situation is unique, and we simply cannot emphasise this enough. Set amongst spectacular rugged coast line, boasting its own beautiful sandy beach sheltered from the roaring Atlantic. It’s fed by the most gorgeous meandering estuary rich in wildlife and marine conservation which the Creekside overlooks. Looe’s St George’s Island where smugglers used to unload their illicit goods can occasionally be visited by sun seekers by foot (if you don’t mind damp feet!) or the ferry boat.
